Kathua, 07 September 2024 | To promote voter awareness and underscore the importance of active participation in the democratic process, a series of activities were organized here today under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.
One of the key highlights of the event was the formation of a human chain, symbolizing the collective responsibility of citizens to sustain and nurture democracy through voting. This powerful visual statement aimed to remind individuals of their crucial role in the electoral process.

Adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the program, an impressive performance was held at Government High School Logate. The students presented a captivating dance performance that creatively emphasized the significance of voting in a democracy. Anita Pangotra delivered a thought-provoking speech on the importance of voting, inspiring the audience to recognize their responsibility as citizens of a democratic country like India.
