Jammu, 22 March 2025 | Department of Physical Education and Sports of GDC Sidhra under the able guidance of the Principal of the College, Dr. G.S Rakwal organized a tug-of-war competition of Men to showcase the components of physical fitness (strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, and agility) to commemorate “Fit India” initiative with an endeavor to educate the students about healthy lifestyle.
The program was organized per the directions received from the Director Colleges, Higher Education Department, UT of J&K.
The event witnessed active participation from students of B.A/B.Com Semester II, IV, and VI with a total of 30 participants. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the College, Dr. G.S Rakwal. The competition was organized under the guidance of Prof. Deepak Kumar, Physical Director of the College.
The event was graced by the presence of faculty members including Dr. Sunil Kumar Bhat, Dr. Harpreet Kour, Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, Dr. Anu Sharma, Dr. Shonima Malhotra, Dr. Mansoor Ali, and other faculty Members.
