Trio Arrested in Attempted Murder Case in Kanachak; Toka and Lathi Recovered by Jammu Police

Jammu, 10th December 2024 | In a breakthrough, Jammu Police have arrested three criminals involved in an attempt to murder case reported in the Kanachak area. The swift action comes as part of the police’s continued efforts to crack down on criminal activities in the region.

The case stems from a complaint filed on 5th December 2024 at Police Station Kanachak by Ajay Kumar, S/O Sham Lal, R/O Pandorian, Tehsil Jammu North. The complainant alleged that he was attacked by three individuals, namely:

  1. Paramjeet Singh alias Pamma, S/O Sohan Singh, R/O Pandorian.
  2. Joginder Lal alias Jinder, S/O Lakshman Dass, R/O Pandorian.
  3. Balvinder Kumar alias Balu, S/O Charan Dass, R/O Bore Camp, Chatha, Jammu.

The accused reportedly used a toka and lathi during the assault, leaving the complainant with serious injuries. He was later shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.

Following the registration of FIR No. 187/24 under Sections 126(2), 351(2), 109, 3(5) BNS, and 4/25 Arms Act, a dedicated team of officers launched an investigation. After conducting multiple raids, the police successfully apprehended all three accused.
