Jammu, December 03 | The organizing team of Urooj-E-Kashmir (Rise of Kashmir) met Honorable Lieutenant Governor, G.C. Murmu, of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The team included Shahwar Shohrat, Social Activist, Haasan Zaidi, Chairman, India Talent Treasure Trust with eminent journalist and social activist Sohail Kazmi and Former Bureaucrat Mohd Aslam Qureshi who are advisors to the program.
Urooj-E-Kashmir will be held by India Talent Treasure Trust® at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), Janpath, New Delhi between 20th December and 25th December 2019. The program will be graced by foreign Delegates and ambassadors, Indian Parliamentarians, Bollywood and Performing Art
Celebrities, Educationists, Kashmiri Singers and many other icons and talents from J&K will participate.
All aspects regarding the program were discussed with Honorable Lieutenant Governor, who assured the team that of all possible support from the Jammu & Kashmir Administration. Lieutenant Governor appreciated the team members of Urooj-E-Kashmir® for conceptualizing the program taking care of embracing all aspects of the union territory, a first of such event after the creation of UT on 31st Oct,2019. The program envisages to bring people together and highlight the famous crafts, culture, cuisine and commerce of J&K.
