Kapoor hits out at School adm for beating Class 1st Student

Jammu, February 10 | In a Press Statement issued here, Social Activist and President Parents Association Jammu (PAJ) Amit Kapoor lashed out at school administration of Blossom High School R.S. Pura for not taking any stringent step in a case of corporal punishment in their School, Amit said a student of class 1st Seerat Kour was mercilessly beaten by her Class Teacher Geetika in the school over a silly issue of sitting in a wrong row of class.

Kapoor added when the student reported the incident to the family, The mother of Seerat approached the Principal Office but instead of listening to the story of the aggrieved mother the Principal started misbehaving and said I don’t have time for such issues and you just get out. The mother also requested the Principal for the CCTV Footage but he was so adamant that he started misbehaving and said there is no need to send your child into the school from tomorrow stop sending her here.

The aggrieved mother also approached the concerned police station, despite the inquiry by the Police the school Principal said that I’m a highly powerful and connected person and I don’t care. In the end, the mother visited the Parents Association Office, where a Joint Presser was Addressed by President of the association Amit Kumar. He said this act is totally inhumane and illegal, He added that strict action must be taken against the school for this heinous activity.

He has urged the higher officials of the Education Department including Director School Education Jammu and demanded stringent action under law against the school so that such incident won’t happen again in future. He warned If any action will not be taken the Parents Association will come on roads to protest against the said School.
