Jammu, November 07 | Addressing the press conference Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement has extended full support of the Movement to the lawyers for not shifting of registration powers of documents of land to the revenue department and to the bar association Jammu opposing the shifting of Jammu High Court Complex from Janipur to Raika in Bahu Conservation Reserve.
Dimple appealed the president of India, prime minister Narinder Modi and law minister of India Ravi Shanker Parshad to immediately intervene the matter as the judicial work and the litigants in courts of the Jammu region are suffering a lot, due to bar association and the advocates’ agitation. He alleged the govt has adopted adamant attitude the lieutenant governor Girish Chander Murmu should call the agitating lawyers and resolve the issue. Dimple appealed the bar to intensify their agitation as after formation of union territory from the state has multiplied the hardships and miseries of the people of Jammu Kashmir.
Dimple also appealed the bar association, to include in their agitation the restoration of “statehood and special status to Jammu” as all these anti-people policies are rising and being implemented after the conversion of the state into a union territory. He said the placement, situation of Jammu high court in our west assembly constituency, is a matter of pride for all the people of the constituency and is noble asset institution for the constituency, which people of the constituency and we will never allow shifting from Janipur to other location and registration powers to the revenue department.
Dimple also appealed the bar association, Lawyers brothers and sisters to include the making of Jammu state back, closure of Sarore Toll plaza, a rollback of heavy fines under MV Act and with drawl of the 9% RTO road tax on vehicles in the charter of their demands. He alleged BJP state leaders are only paper tigers and shedding crocodiles tears on all these issues and only writing hallow press note letters on shifting of courts, registration of documents, toll plaza, in spite of standing with the agitating innocent people.
