Jammu, December 02 | A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Jat Sabha, called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here.
The delegation headed by its President, Manjit Singh, former Minister, comprised of Sukhnandan Choudhary, former Minister, ex-MLCs- Surinder Choudhary and Vikram Randhawa, submitted a memorandum of demands to the Lt. Governor pertaining to reservation for Jat community under OBC category and modification in reservation criteria for those living along the International borders.
The Lt. Governor assured the delegation that all their genuine demands will be taken up for examination and urged them to continue their sustained endeavours for promoting public welfare.
