Batwal Association resolve long drawn matrimonial disputed case

Jammu, December 03 | The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association held its meeting here which was attended by a large number of Batwal Community members. The meeting discussed a matrimonial dispute arisen in between a married couple namely -Pooja Devi and Kakki Kumar who were offended with each other and had been living separately too much of the time. Pooja alleged that her husband was habitual of taking liquor and used to beat her mercilessly over trivial matters.

As such, she had to live with parents. Her husband Kakki realized that whatever he did was wrong and stated that he had given up the drink. He assured that he would treat his wife in a desirable manner and would never give a chance of any complaint against him ever in future. The Association keeping in view his realization and assurance asked Pooja to grant him a chance to live together. She agreed to and both once again resolved to live together. All Association members present in the meeting wished the couple a happy married life.

Among others who attended the meeting included Retd Captain Om Parkash Tugga, Retd Captain Om Parkash Kaith, Retd Subedar Major Romesh Sargotra, Retd Subedar Major Gunni Ram Kaith, Retd Subedar Baldev Chand Sandhu, Retd Havildar Des Raj Kaith, Retd Havildar Uttam Chand Sandhu, Ex Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal Lakhotra, R.L.Kaith, Raghubir Lal Lakhotra, Kamal Singh Kaith, Mela Ram Tugga, Diley Ram Kaith, Gurdas Chand Sargotra, Punnu Ram Kaith, Chaman Lal Kaith, Virender Kaith, Ashok Kumar and Kakki Kumar Kaith.
