Jammu, October 11 | Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) conducted an extensive tour of Ward 41 and interacted with hundreds of locals during his tour. He was also accompanied by State Secretary BJP Sanjay Baru (Corporator) and many others including inhabitants of the ward and other political activists. Sharma also took stock of basic amenities provided in the ward. The leader toured many areas including Hazuri Bagh, Colonel Colony, Shankar Vihar, Bohri and adjoining areas of the Ward.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that he was apprised of the problems faced by locals in the area including damaged roads due to rains and covering of deep drains for which concerned departments have been asked for early redressal. Sharma assured the public that the work will be taken up to resolve the issue in a time-bound manner to benefit the locals at the earliest.
He also stated that Jammu West has been developed to its fullest and pending works will also be taken in some time to avoid public distress. The pace of development in Jammu West shows that constituency progressed a lot in the last 5 years and has reached to the mark of a Model Constituency.
Sanjay Baru and Neelam Nargotra hailed the pro-active approach of Former MLA and stated that Ward 41 has been equipped with all modern infra and that is with the help of Former MLA who is still working 24×7 in order to provide best possible services to masses. He also stated that pending works in the ward are kept on priority and will be taken up in coming days.
The locals also thanked former MLA for taking up many works in the ward and expected that the BJP leader will keep working with the same pace to work for the masses of Jammu West.
